I don't think I have posted much about this, but Ayden and I are going to India next month, serving with the Tronie Foundation. So excited, but also so nervous, so overwhelmed, so FRANTIC...
This whole week i literally have had every 30 minutes planned out. It doesn't help me at all that we live right outside a major Olympia renovation project that is expected to take over a year to complete.
I can easily sit for 20-30 minutes waiting to go 2 blocks. it is the perfect time to respond to emails and browse face book, but it hinders my to do list
I told Alex this morning, i feel like I have a log burning in about 20 fires.
So this week, we finished applying for our VISA's, wrote our fundraising letter, got our physicals, had about 5000 shots, picked up about 5000 more prescriptions to fill, and begun feeling the final stretch before we leave.
In the meantime I have been filling out all of the health forms and waivers for the kids summer camps, enjoying my last Mother's day luncheon with my sweet Ketner, finalized the yearbook, gone to a bazillion baseball games, grieved the bazillion baseball games that have been rained out, dealt with some teenage issues (if you catch my drift), and had some of the most crazy days at work...
But in the midst of all this chaos...this has been going on around me..
Isn't spring the BEST!! i wish she would stay awhile though.
But sadly, with the passing days, this little friend of ours in slowly moving onto Heaven. Ayden has had her since 2nd grade! She has been carried up the stairs twice a day for the past 7 years, she has a perfect spot in Ayden's room that she sleeps and then comes upstairs during the day to hang out with all of us. She really is the best bird in the world. We are so sad that she is going, but we know she is going to tear it up wit all the other birds in Heaven. I hope God is ready, because she likes to whistle really loudly when anyone is having a conversation. Love you sweet Lady!!
