Oh where O' where can my little boy be?"

I can really hardly believe it, but at 0300 this morning, Ayden turned 13! Where has the time gone? I look at him and there are times where i see the little pudgey, brown eyed, full cheeked baby,

 

 and other times, that kid is completely gone, replaced by this one

  

 

  

He has become this beautiful, brown eyed, long, leggy, animal loving,

  

girl desiring, techy, devoted friend, type A, sweet talking, amazing, incredible, irreplaceable, practically edible kid.

The wonderful thing about 13 so far is that he still loves his white blanket, he has had it since he was born. Athough he used to bring along a dozen or so stuffed animals, his blanket has remained his true comfort. Here it is in SunRiver this past week.

My heart soars for this boy! Here's what his birthday intalled:

1.waking up to Ketner throwing up so I quickly ordered him back to his room because I hadn't decorated his "birthday space yet"

 

2. Enjoyed Ayden opeing up his new Pearl Izumi Bike shirt

3. unpacked stuff from SunRiver. Enjoyed browsing through the fun pictures from this weekend.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Our friends helped us by inviting teh older boys over to Tye Dye our shirts for this upcoming weekends trip to Younglife's Wildlife Canyon.

 

5.Nolen & I (&Willow) picked an enormous amount of cherries from our backyard tree.  The poor thing is falling over with cherries. I don't know why it is so happy, becasue I don't do anything to aid in its happiness

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. Now we are about to enjoy a fabulous, homebaked chocolate cake made by Auntie and the girls. Celebrate Ayden's 13th and celebrate that Ketner has finally stopped vomitting!

Wow.....what a post! Sounds like you are having a great time. I actually asked Randy if he knew what yesterday was.... he couldn't remember but I told him 9 years ago he proposed at Ayden's b-day at old McDebbie's Farm.... I remember that little face watching the boys at your house while you worked, waiting for Alex to get home. Wow...how fast it going. Great pictures. When did you get back? Are you leaving again this weekend for the younglife camp?
